Saltwater Fishing Trips
Capt. Brent Hopkins operates out of several different boats. Depending upon which boat he thinks is best for you along with the days fishing conditions, or which boat you choose, is the one you will be fishing from. Rest assured you will have a dry, safe, and comfortable ride while on your fishing trips in the coastal bays of Texas.
All boats meet US Coast Guard standards, carry USCG approved life vests, GPS, cellular phone and a medical kit.
We provide live bait, tackle, rods, lures, fish cleaning, and packaging of your catch. Bring a cooler to take them home in.
During the summer months, fishing trips when or while wade fishing with live croaker, you may be required to pay a percentage of the bait costs. These additional costs are addressed the evening before we fish so that there are never any hidden costs. If you wish to use live bait, please mention that when contacting us.
Individual, Corporate Groups, and Tournament Fishing Charters are available.
Advance notice of your trip is necessary to assure that Ace in the Hole Guide Service has ample time for your reservations.

Port O'Connor Trophy Bull Redfish Fishing Trips
These fishing trips take place in Port O'Connor, Texas around 60 miles north of Rockport, Texas, during the months of late September thru early November with October being the prime month. These trophy fishing trips are catch, photo and release only type of fishing charter. If you would like to mount one of them, we will measure and take photos of your catch for taxidermy purposes, then release the fish un-harmed so it can serve the important purpose of mass reproduction to ensure the health of the species. We also normally catch several large Black Drum on these trips for some added fun.
The boats' average catch is 10 to 40 of these brute fish. That's sure to bring you some real arm tiring rod bending action!

Duck Hunting
Ace in the Hole Guide Service offers exceptional waterfowling in the Rockport, Texas area during Texas' annual Teal and Duck Seasons. Hunters enjoy fast-paced duck hunting from well-camouflaged blinds on the scenic coastal Texas flats. Primary species include pintail, widgeon, teal and redheads, with bufflehead and scaup ducks also plentiful. We have great afternoon duck hunting for those who do not like to get up early and are interested in leisurely leaving the dock at about 1 pm and are often limited by early afternoon.
Duck hunts begin at legal shooting time, and finish when clients bag their limits, or about 10:00 am, whichever comes first.

Hog and Javelina Hunts
These hunts are conducted late January through mid-March only, after deer season, while it's cool and the wild game are used to coming to the feed. We have several ranches scattered throughout the South Texas area insuring you have a good hunt. Ranches vary in size from 1,000 to 6,500 acres.
- All ranches have accommodations at no charge
- Space is limited so that we don't crowd our hunters (6-10 hunters)
- Harvest as many hogs and varmints as you like
- Only 2 Javelina per hunter
- We allow night hunting
You may hunt with any weapon EXCEPT for semi-automatic military type
weapons and pistols.

- Bow hunting stands

Rockport Airboat Tours and Fishing Trips
We offer sightseeing tours and fishing trips in our custom built 20' GTO airboat into the back lakes, marshes, and other areas where no other kind of regular boats can go except airboats.
You will enjoy the ride, the fun of being away from other boaters, and the mystique of the backwaters where wildlife abounds such as abundant bird life, whitetail deer, alligators, fish, and other critters. There is so much more you can see in these isolated locations.
Pick up the kids, grab the camera, and go for an exciting ride and/or a fishing trip, where can you can have it all. Your kids will love you for it, and we're sure the adults will have a lot of fun too.

Dove Hunting Trips
We have several dove hunting ranches located Alice, George West, and Falfurrias to insure that you have a good hunt. All of our ranches are approximately an hour or so away from Rockport. You will be hunting in or around some sort of grain field or over water.
Season Dates: Generally mid-September through October and a late season in December.
