HOT Guided Hunts is proud to present our Rio Grande Turkey hunting in the
beautiful and scenic country of Central Texas. We pride ourselves in our
management programs, which involves selective harvests in order to bring you
that perfect "Trophy" Tom. Another management tool is maintaining quality
habitat. We are always working on a 50%-50% Mott. This insures plenty of grass
lands with available timber and brush. Our guides are all turkey hunting fanatics
with years of accomplishments in the turkey woods. All of our turkey hunts are
spring only. It is an awesome site to see and hear when that dominate Gobbler
gives you an up close display of the spring mating rituals. The thunder like
gobbles are spine tingling and when a bird comes in hot spitting and drumming it
will put the fever for turkey hunting in anyone. We are located in a four-bird
county. We average a 98% success rate, and averaged a 9 & 3/4" beard. Come

Clients need to bring: Full Camo (including a face mask and gloves) - Legal shot
gun or archery tackle - #4, 5, or 6 Turkey specific loads - Bug repellant -
Comfortable, well broke in boots (snake-proof recommended) - Turkey specific
choke - Plenty of water that is able to be packed It is highly recommended that
you pattern your gun on Turkey targets at 20, 30, 40, & 50 yards.
