Dove Hunting in Central Texas can be a wing shooters Disney Land! With
fields of sunflowers, Milo, Foxtail Millet, German Brown Top Millet and corn,
we layout the bird buffet. There are a good number of resident birds in the
area, but we still depend on Mother Nature for a good migration. Central TX
Dove Hunting in the morning are usually focused around a grain field, while
afternoon hunts focus on watering holes. During the "Dove Opener",
September 1st thru the fallowing Monday, Lunch is catered in the field each
day. Dove Hunting in Central TX is one of the most special seasons in the
year. Besides being the first time to get out and knock the dust off your gun
and the rust from our shooting skills, it is a time to enjoy friends and family.
After the morning hunt your field guide will escort you back to camp where
there will be a buffet style lunch laid out for you. The time spent around the
lunch camp can be just as entertaining as the hunt. Every year we meet new
people and reunite with friends of past seasons. It is truly an all around good
time. All catered meals are included in the price of the dove hunt. After the
opener we still take hunters till the birds turn off.
