The clear, shallow waters surrounding South Padre Island, offer some of the finest saltwater fishing on the whole Texas Gulf Coast! I host some of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides for area fishing and hunting, including boats completely equipped for the shallow waters and flats of the Lower Laguna Madre.
Skipper Ray guides the Lower Laguna Madre for Tarpon, Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Snook, on both fly rod and spin tackle and can usually put clients on fish of their choice.
About South Padre IslandSouth Padre Island is a fishermen’s Paradise in that they can bring the family to enjoy the many amenities as well as the white sandy beaches. You don’t have to get passports for everybody either. The sun shines most of the time and the average temperature ranges from 85 in the summer to about 70 in the winter. South Padre Island area holds numerous World records, (four on the fly) and State records, both in fly, and all tackle. |

Your Charter BoatI have a 22’ Baymaster completely rigged for our shallow bay system,(average depth1 ½’) with a 175 Johnson on the trailer and can launch from any number of places around the Lower Laguna Madre. I find that it is more convenient for everyone to be able to offer this service. I can even pick you up on my way to those places as well, if you want to leave your car behind for any reason. |
